However, Mu Xiu was in the forest, and the wind would destroy him. At that time, the King of Chu also took a fancy to his wife and used his power to forcibly occupy his wife, and imprisoned Wei Han for a crime of treason.

Wei Han's wife secretly wrote to him and said regretfully, "The rain is lecherous, the river is deep, and the sunrise is careful."

King Chu also saw the letter, but he didn't understand what it meant, so he showed it to the people around him, but the people around him didn't understand either. King Chu had no choice but to find his think tank, Mr. Sujia. After reading it, Sujia said, "The rain is lustful, which means sadness and yearning, the river is deep, which means that you can't communicate with each other, and the sunrise is careful, which means that you have already planned to seek death in your heart."

The King of Chu sneered and ignored it.

Not long after, Wei Han really committed suicide. His wife once jumped off the platform when the King of Chu was not paying attention as she climbed high and looked into the distance. There was a suicide note in her clothes that read, "The king wants me to live, but I would rather die. I hope the king can satisfy my last wish and give my bones to Wei Han for burial."

The King of Chu was furious and did not follow her wishes. Instead, he asked people to bury them separately and let the two tombs separate and face each other.

King Chu said, "Your husband and wife are constantly with each other. If you can teach the two graves to be together, then I will no longer stop you."

As soon as the words were finished, I saw two big trees growing out of the two graves in ten days. They grew thicker and thicker. The trunks bent and moved closer to each other. The roots of the trees intersected underground, and the branches intermingled in the sky. There were two mandarin ducks, a female and a male, who always perched on the trunk and snuggled together. The mournful chirping of the clothes was touching.

The people of Jingzhou sympathized with them, so they called this tree the Acacia Tree. The word Acacia came from here. According to southerners, the bird Mandarin Duck is the soul of Wei Han and his wife, and songs about them have been passed down to this day.
