He heard that Shen Daozi was in a certain place in Xuzhou, and people who knew him called him a living fairy, so he wanted to visit him to see if there was any way to solve the current problem. After the people in the mountains found out, they all came to send him, preparing the dry food he needed, hoping that his trip would bring good news to everyone.

After Yan Hao came out of the mountains, he visited many places and searched for two or three months before he found the place where Shen Daozi temporarily lived. At that time, Shen Daozi seemed to want to go out and was telling his apprentice Wang Zhao to pack his luggage. Yan Hao knelt down to meet him and explained the purpose of his visit. Shen Daozi replied, I already know about this matter, but there is only one way to try it at the moment, and I am waiting for you to go with me. Yan Hao asked him what the solution was. Shen Daozi replied that a long time ago, there was an animal called, which was used by Chi You's army to pull carts. This beast did not eat grass, but only stones. The last thing that came out was soil, which was very fertile and the best way to grow food! Yan Hao was very happy and asked, "This is really great, but is there such a beast now?"

Shen Daozi replied that in Gaoping, Shanxi Province, where Chiyou was buried, there used to be mountains everywhere, and now the stones had been eaten, so it was all land, but after Chiyou died, in order to avoid people, he usually hid under the land and rarely appeared. The locals may not have seen it, and it changes very little in the soil. Once it returns to the ground, it will grow to be as big as a house, and it can eat tens of thousands of catties of stones a day. Yan Hao was very happy after hearing this, and said to Shen Daozi, If I can do these things, I can die, can I start now? Yan Hao boarded Shen Daozi's car, the speed of the car was very slow, but it took only three days to reach Gaoping.

After getting there, Shen Daozi said things were difficult to handle, and he should ask some people. He tried to open the altar, and soon an old man drilled out of the ground and said goodbye to Shen Daozi. Shen Daozi asked, "How many are there in the ground?" The old man replied, "There are eighty-one more!" Shen Daozi heard this and happily said, Great, you can lend me some! The old man looked embarrassed and replied, this matter is not easy to handle, so it is difficult to obey! After Yan Hao heard this, he knelt in front of the old man and described the tragic situation in his hometown with tears, hoping that the old man would show mercy and temporarily borrow the divine beast. Seeing his sincerity, the old man seemed shaken. Shen Daozi again convinced that a deadline could be set, and even a little more land could save lives.

The old man finally compromised, saying he could borrow six pairs for the time being, but the recovery time should be 36 days later. Yan Hao was overjoyed when he heard the words and kowtowed to thank him. The old man asked him to take off his long shirt, go back to the ground and catch six pairs, put them in the soil and wrap them in clothes for Yan Hao. After Yan Hao went back, he released, and instantly turned into twelve divine beasts with one horn and scales, the size of a house. After eating 36 days of stones, destroying a mountain and making fertile land, they burrowed into the soil and disappeared without a trace. Everyone was very happy and set up temples for the land and Shen Daozi respectively.
