There was a famous osteopath doctor in the Hani ethnic group who had prepared a kind of osteopathic herbal medicine. It had an unexpected effect on treating fractures, relieving pain, stopping bleeding, reducing inflammation, and curing diseases with medicine. He was known as the "divine doctor" of osteopathy.
Oddly enough, this boning technique was not inherited, but taught to him by centipedes. There is such a true story in it.
One day at noon, the Hani doctor was resting under a big tree by the side of the mountain when suddenly he saw a large centipede more than 20 centimeters long crawling over. He stared at the small eyes, and the two rows of long feet were squirming, wagging their heads and tails, which was intimidating. Worried that the centipede would sting, he pulled out his long knife, gently chopped it down, and cut it in half. Because each section of the centipede has ganglia, after the centipede is cut in two, the ganglia will still work separately, and the broken body will keep struggling and squirm.
After a while, he found another centipede crawling over. When he saw that his companion was dying, he was very anxious, circled the two truncated bodies, sniffed it, and hurriedly crawled into the grass. "What is the centipede playing?" Out of curiosity, Dr. Haney did not hack the centipede to death.
Soon, the centipede crawled back, with a green leaf in its mouth. The Hani doctor looked at it carefully out of curiosity. The centipede connected the broken body together, and then covered the young leaf on top of the connection, but he quietly stood by. After about half an hour, a miracle finally happened: the centipede that had been chopped into two pieces actually joined together. He slowly squirmed a few times, and then began to crawl. Finally, he crawled into the grass and climbed into the gap of the big tree.
The Hani doctor picked up the leaf left on the ground, carefully identified it, and found that it was a leaf growing on a thin vine. So he picked up a lot of these leaves and packed a large bag of counterfeit products.
He first mashed the leaves, then broke the chicken leg, applied the medicine and wrapped it. After 3 days, he untied it and saw that the chicken thigh bones were also connected.
Later, he used this leaf on patients with fractures, which was also very effective. He named this tree Elder.
