"The Story of Yueyang Tower" first wrote the beginning and end and scale of Yueyang Tower, then wrote the feelings of the debased and exiled officials and frustrated literati. Fan Zhongyan wrote: "Hey! I once studied the thinking of ancient people with lofty ideals.

They behaved differently from the demoted officials and frustrated scholars. What is the reason for this? Ancient people with lofty ideals were not happy because of the beautiful scenery, nor were they sad because of their bad situation.

When they are in high office like prime ministers, they worry about their people; when they are in remote rivers and lakes, they worry about their kings. That is to say, if you enter the dynasty and become an official, you will also worry about retreating to the people.

If there were any of them, they would surely say: Worry is before the people of the world, and joy is after the people of the world.
