Gulou Mountain is located in the shadow of the Yangtze River at the border of Pengze County, Jiangxi Province. The blue sky above is green and the waves of green water below. The peaks stand tall and the rocks are rugged. The slopes of the mountain are green bamboo, bayberry monkey. The water gurgles under the mountains, fish play with stones. The beautiful scenery has attracted an endless stream of tourists. Since the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Jiangnan has developed step by step and become increasingly prosperous. Gulou Mountain has accompanied the people who have lived here in the past dynasties, jointly withstanding the torment of wind, frost, rain and snow, and enjoying the bath of spring breeze and sunshine. With the changes of the times, the rise and fall of society, and the advancement of history, Gulou Mountain has left many beautiful legends little known.

There is an ancient name for Gulou Mountain called Gulong Mountain. According to legend, in ancient times, there were no hills here, but a plain. At that time, there was no rain for a long time, the rivers and lakes were dry, and the land was thousands of miles away. The people left their hometowns. One day, the Dauphin, the Dragon King of the East China Sea, flew over this place. Seeing this tragic situation, it was unbearable to see, and he was suddenly kind-hearted. He made the wind and rain, and the rain fell everywhere, saving hundreds of millions of lives. Everyone cheered and was grateful. But I didn't know that some villain was reporting to the heavenly court. The Jade Emperor was angry that he had violated the law of heaven and ordered the Dauphin to go to the scene immediately. Shuanggui, never pardoned. The poor prince was severely punished for the sake of the lives of the people. Who did he complain to? He had to be honest and dormant on the scene, not daring to move. After thousands of years, it turned into a stone mountain. From a distance, the ridge is uplifted, so the local people call it Gulong Mountain. Gulong Mountain is undulating and meandering for more than ten kilometers. At the bottom of the mountain is Qilihong Valley, and there is a highway in the valley. Every rainy season, the flood in the valley roars and gushes, and Gulong Mountain floats slowly in the flood. The water and stones fight each other, the sound is like thunder, and the momentum is full of power, just like a flood dragon going out to sea, mighty and majestic. At the northern pass of Qilihong Valley, there is a stone slope in Gulong Mountain that protrudes into the water, and people call it Dragon Chew Head. The head of the dragon is facing a deep pool, and the water surface is calm but bottomless. A local villager once dived into the water to fish, and accidentally found a hole in the mountain in the water, so he entered the hole. Soon he saw a golden palace of the Dragon King, Qionglou Immortal Pavilion, and the Pavilion Pavilion. There are strange treasures inside, full of exquisite eyes, blurry eyes. I saw the dragon son and the dragon girl singing and dancing softly, and the music was pleasant to the ear. The villagers came out of the cave in horror, and the people of the village were amazed, and immediately went to seek it. As a result, there was no hole, only the sound of bell music could be vaguely heard, and they were relaxed and happy, and forgot to return.

Gulong Mountain was later renamed Gulou Mountain, which is related to the story of Emperor Taizu of Ming Zhu Yuanzhang. It is said that Zhu Yuanzhang and Chen Youming competed for the world and fought for 18 years in Pohu Lake. In one battle, Zhu Yuanzhang was defeated miserably and fled in panic. Chen Youming chased after him. Zhu Yuanzhang abandoned the ship from Duchang, Jiangxi and rushed to the 30th capital of Pengze. He was blocked by the high and steep Gulong Mountain in front of him. The remnants were in a state of confusion. There was no way to climb the mountain, no way to enter the ground, and it was difficult to fly. The pursuers were approaching, and he was very anxious. Zhu Yuanzhang was expected to die under Chen Youming's sword. In despair, he drew his sword and stabbed at the top of the mountain, and unexpectedly there was a thunderbolt, and the mountain collapsed. A long and narrow passage appeared immediately in front of him, and Yuan Zhang led the remnants to pass quickly. The pursuers followed, only to see thick smoke, the narrow valley closed, and the pursuers retreated in shock. Zhu Yuanzhang saved the danger and said happily: "The sky will not destroy me, and it will be peaceful to escape this pass!" So he climbed to the Cologne Mountain, built a drum tower on a circular boulder, gathered the remnants, and regrouped. He personally climbed the building to beat drums and ordered them to counterattack the enemy. Since then, he has turned defeat into victory, and finally destroyed Chen Youming and established the Ming Dynasty. The following year, Yuan Zhang passed on an edict to change the name of Cologne Mountain to Drum Tower Mountain. The ancient post station under the Drum Tower Mountain was renamed Taiping Pass. A successful ten thousand bones withered, and the Ming army took advantage of the victory to chase down Chen Hanjun, killing countless defeated soldiers, bleeding seven miles, dying the Drum Tower Valley, so the world renamed the valley Qilihong as Qili. Now that spring has arrived, the rhododendrons all over the mountains and plains are blooming, red and bright, and they are also the true seven-mile red!

Standing in the Seven Mile Red Valley and looking up, the steep rock cliffs of Drum Tower Mountain are lined with arrays, like a long circular wall. The landscape is very magnificent. Legend has it that the mountain was originally gentle, and there was a plain under the mountain, which was open and magnanimous. The prime ministers and masters all said that this is the land of dragon veins, and an emperor will come here to establish the capital. It is a coincidence that when the crown prince had an affair with a palace maid, the palace maid was pregnant. The crown prince was afraid that the life of the palace maid would be at risk, and with the help of the chief supervisor, he secretly transferred out of the palace. He also planned to build the palace's golden palace at the foot of Drum Tower Mountain, and waited for the palace maid to be established as the main palace after inheriting the throne. The palace maids were ecstatic, all kinds of flattery, and spoiled the queen. Unexpectedly, the prince's move alarmed the compassionate Empress Guanyin. She had a whim: a prince, a prince! Concealing the sky and crossing the sea, she built a palace privately. How can a palace maid be an empress? Wouldn't it be messing up the imperial platform and messing up the world, and this matter must be properly handled as soon as possible? After thinking about it, she decided to go down to earth to investigate first, so she jumped off the lotus throne, turned into a cargo man, carried a load full of daily necessities on her shoulders, and hawked all the way down the Drum Tower Mountain. Besides, there is a small village under the Drum Tower Mountain. The name of the village is Xiaoliu, which is located on the east side of the Qilihong Valley, close to the foot of the ancient building mountain. The small river in front of the village flows in all seasons. The river beach is green in all seasons. Legend has it that when Zhu Yuanzhang was in a fierce battle with Chen Youming, he once settled the Ma family who had just given birth here, and left 500 soldiers to protect the safety. At that time, Zhu Yuanzhang commanded the battle in the front, but the rear was empty. Chen Youming sent an army to attack the Ma family camp. The 500 guards stood guard for three days and three nights, and were in great danger. Suddenly, the green bamboo on the riverside exploded, and 3,000 people jumped out to help the battle. After Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, the Chen army was beaten to pieces, and the Ma family was in danger. Or: Bamboo soldiers are divine soldiers! After Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, the 500 guards still left behind and did not return to the team. They settled down in the local area, but changed their surname to "stay" uniformly. But because there is no "stay" surname in the hundreds of surnames, and "stay" is homophonic with "Liu", they changed their surname to "Liu". These are probably the reasons for the name of Shenxia Liu Village! Shenxia Liu Village is indeed miraculous. The village site faces the river, which is only less than three meters higher than the river surface. However, during the flood period, it is surging and more than three meters higher than the village site, but the water is like a water droplet, passing around the village, and the village site does not drip water. One strange thing! The second strange thing is that there are no mosquitoes and flies in the village all year round. There was an unbeliever who made a special trip to the village for investigation. During the dog days, he slept in the village for three days and three nights.

The villagers of Liu Village under the gods are simple and kind, hard-working and intelligent. Small farmers are well fed and economical. One day, a group of idlers came to an idle compound next to the village and went out of the courtyard during the day. No one knew what they wanted to do. On this day, the Empress Guanyin came down to the earth to inspect this place. She carried the cargo man and sold it, and the gate of the courtyard opened in response. A middle-aged man came out wearing a square scarf hat and a long shirt. His face was pale. There was no hair on the left side of his face, and the right side was covered with a long black beard. The beard went straight to the cargo man. After selecting some items and putting them in his arms, he said to go back to the courtyard to get money to pay the bill, and entered the house without looking back. Then came out one middle-aged man after another, their clothes and beards were all the same as the first side of the beard, and they also took the goods without paying the silver. Empress Guanyin did not care about them, and let them do what they did. In this way a total of ninety-nine side beards came out, and a load of goods was taken away. Guanyin knew this well, and had already performed some supernatural powers, branding their clothes with serial numbers invisible to the mortal eye, and following the last person into the yard. Only the last person paid the silver, and the first ninety-eight people refused to accept the account. Guanyin's kind words persuaded her, but her fists and feet were added, and the compassionate Empress Guanyin shook her head and sighed again and again and left the courtyard. She came to the site of the Crown Prince's Palace not far away, where stone and wood building materials were piled up and had not yet been built. When he opened his discerning eyes, he saw that the location of the palace was located in the center of the dragon vein, and the purple gas was rising. After the investigation was completed, the clouds were born at his feet, and he went straight to the Lingxiao Palace, and he recited the Jade Emperor one by one. The Jade Emperor was very angry, that is, the Taibai Gold Star summoned the Drum Tower Mountain God, and said the imperial decree: "The universe is bright, and there are ninety-nine side beards gathering together to do evil. Such improper conduct has polluted the Pure Land of the East. There is also the current Crown Prince, who behaves badly, and the sky does not allow it. Go back as soon as you can, and deal with it properly." The mountain god understood and returned quickly, and used his supernatural powers. Suddenly, lightning flashed and thunder, the sky was dark, the ground shook, and there was a loud boom. The Drum Tower Mountain was unrecognizable, and the gentle hillside suddenly became steep like a wall. The Crown Prince's Palace sank to the bottom of the water. The sun is back, the wind is bright and the sun is shining. Later, I heard that there were people in the folk who said that the palace maid threw herself into the water. The ninety-nine side beards were swept away by the wind. After hard work, they were all reformed, self-sufficient, hard-working and rich, and the family business was endless.
