Once upon a time there was a rich man. In his later years, he had a son who was very doting. He used to eat and be lazy and wander around all day.

The rich man heard that people of high status send their children to private schools to study. So he sent his son to a private school as well.

On the first day of his son's private school, he was beaten because of his naughty. When he got home, he stretched out his hand to show the rich man. The rich man was very distressed.

The next day, the rich man brought his son to the private school and said to the teacher, "How dare you beat my son, he is the only seedling of three generations in my family. Can you afford to have three long and two short?"

The teacher said in a cold sweat, "This... not too naughty... I'm afraid I won't be able to learn well."

The rich man shouted loudly, "It's my son's problem that he can't learn well. You just need to read your book carefully."

The teacher nodded and bowed, "Okay... Okay..."

The rich man saw that the teacher was really scared, so he said even more arrogantly: "If my son is beaten and bullied here, be careful that I dismantle your private school."

The teacher hurriedly said, "Yes, yes, I dare not..."

After the rich man left, the teacher no longer dared to discipline the rich man's son, but gave the rich man's son a comfortable chair. Whether he slept or played, as long as he didn't leave the private school while studying, he could do whatever he wanted.

The rich man's son was happy now. Although he could not go out to play every day, he was much more relaxed than those classmates who studied hard every day.

Every day after school, the rich man would ask his son how his studies were going and if he had hit him. The son replied, "He did well, and he didn't hit me again." The rich man was relieved when he heard that.

After ten years of hard work in the cold window, he finally waited for the day when he could go to Beijing to take the exam. The rich man helped his son prepare his luggage early, but his son did not want to take the exam.

Soon the rich man's son was carried back by the servant who escorted him there, and his legs were broken. When the rich man saw his son's legs, he grabbed the servant's collar and asked, "What's the matter? Why is my son's leg broken?"

The servant trembled in fear and said, "Young Master, he can't even write his name in the examination room. He was beaten by the examiner and his legs were discounted in the examination room."

The rich man trembled when he heard that, and he came to Mr. Private School angrily to ask for guilt: "You liar, why can't my son write his name after so long learning?"

The teacher said very calmly: "Didn't the master say that as long as I teach seriously, is it your son's business to learn or not? How can your son write if he doesn't learn?"

The rich man was speechless.
