In ancient times, in a small village at the foot of Shiliang Mountain, there lived a young couple. The husband and wife, a man farming and a woman weaving, lived a poor life, but they were also happy. The birth of their son Fugen brought more joy to this happy family. Although the family was poor, the couple never allowed their son to suffer any grievances, and everything was answered.

Pampered and raised a rebellious son, Fugen grew more and more disdainful of his parents, and scolded his parents when he had a little trouble. The couple hoped their son would change after they got married, but unexpectedly, Fugen became even worse after the marriage. The old couple is getting older, and later they can't go to work in the fields.

One day, the old man fell ill and stayed in bed for many days without getting better. The wife looked very anxious and begged her son to find a bartender for her father. Unexpectedly, the son did not even look at his father, and went down to the ground with a hoe. After a while, the old couple wept from the house. The old woman washed her face with tears all day, and within a few days her eyes were blind.

The Fogan couple was very upset when they saw their parents lying in bed, and they made a big decision as soon as they discussed it. The next day, just after dawn, Fogan put his parents in the car and pushed the old couple out the door. He claimed to take them to a doctor, but when he reached the mountain, he put them down and went home alone.

Seeing that the two old men were about to feed the wolves, a woman appeared at that moment, and the wolves dispersed when they saw the woman. The old couple felt they must have met a fairy, and quickly knelt down and thanked them.

Seeing that the two old men were very pitiful, the woman asked them to follow her home. Not long after walking, a big house with green bricks and green tiles appeared in front of her. From then on, the old couple lived here. After a few days, the old man's illness recovered, the old woman's eyes regained their sight, and the two finally lived a happy life.

One day, two months later, his son Fugen went up the mountain to cut firewood. He was so tired that he couldn't walk anymore, so he wanted to ask his family for water. He came to a house, stretched out his neck and looked inside, and suddenly saw his parents basking in the sun in the yard. Feeling very strange, he quickly went forward and knocked on the door. The old couple saw that their son was not too surprised, and after drinking the water, they told his son to leave quickly.

Fogan saw that everything in the house was very elegant, unlike ordinary people. He felt that his parents must have met a fairy, so he quickly knelt on the ground and begged his parents to give him some gold and silver treasures. The old couple looked at their pitiful son, and their hearts softened again. The mother came to a stone door and said, "The stone door is open, and the treasure is coming." The stone door opened with a "squeak", and the inside was dazzling with gold.

Fogan's eyes straightened, he regained his senses, packed a sack full of gold, and did not go back down the mountain. As he walked, he felt the sack getting heavier and heavier, and he couldn't breathe at all. He turned his head and saw that he was carrying a large stone on his back. He slipped and was crushed to death by a big stone.

The wife waited hard at home and did not see Fogan return. She was worried that something had happened to her husband, so she quickly searched for him. When she saw her husband, she found that he had long since died, but there was still a sack by his side. She opened it curiously and found a bag full of gold, and immediately she was happy. She picked up the bag of gold and was about to leave. At that moment, the gold turned into a large stone and fell down, killing both husband and wife.

The sky slowly darkened, and a pack of hungry wolves came to them with blue eyes. The next day, at dawn, a pile of white bones appeared on the mountain.
