Emperor Gaozu of Han Liu Bang died after the son of Lu Liu Ying ascended the throne as Emperor Hui of Han. Hui Di was cowardly and indecisive by nature, and power gradually fell into the hands of Lu Hou.
After the death of Emperor Hui of the Han Dynasty, Empress Lu took over government of the dynasty and turned the Liu family into the Lu family. The old officials of the dynasty and the Liu family were deeply indignant, but they were all afraid of Empress Lu's brutality and dared to speak out.
After the death of Empress Lv, Zhu Lu was uneasy and afraid of being hurt and ostracized. Therefore, he secretly gathered at the house of the superior general Lu Lu and conspired to cause chaos in order to completely seize the country of the Liu family. The matter spread to the ears of Liu Bao, King of Qi of the Liu family. In order to protect country of the Liu family, Liu Bao decided to launch a crusade against Zhu Lu. Later, he contacted the founding ministers Zhou Bo and Chen Ping and designed to lift Lu Lu Lu, and the "chaos of Zhu Lu" was finally completely quelled.
After the chaos, the ministers supported Liu Bang's second son, Liu Heng, to the throne and called him Emperor Wen of the Han Dynasty. Emperor Wen felt that peace and prosperity were hard-won, so he set the fifteenth day of the first lunar month to quell the "chaos of Zhu Lu" as a day of fun with the people. Every family in the capital was decorated with lights, ground into powder with glutinous rice, wrapped in sugar, and boiled for consumption, indicating a safe reunion and sweetness. To celebrate, there is no need to worry about the disasters caused by war.
Since then, the fifteenth day of the first lunar month has become a folk festival "Lantern Festival" that is celebrated all over the world. Because there are spontaneous performances to express joy, it is also known as the "Lantern Festival".
