Since ancient times, people have said that Hanjiang sand gold is of high quality and color, with different shapes: the big ones are like broad beans, corn, and soybeans, and the small ones are like wheat rice, bran, and fine sand. But did you know? There is a magical folk legend about the origin of Hanjiang sand gold.

It is said that a long, long time ago, on the other side of the Hanjiazhoutou River, in the lower river bay of Dianzihe Village, there were two magnificent and resplendent temples. One was the Earth Temple and the other was the Niangniang Temple. The temples were all facing north and south, facing five rooms wide, with a magnificent front and backyard.

In the middle of the night on May 4th of the Jiawu year, the land was drinking and chatting with the city god of China. It turned out that the city god stayed in the earth temple to participate in the pilgrimage ceremony of the Duanyang Festival held at the White Dragon Holy Temple in Dianzihe on the fifth day. To welcome the distinguished guests during the festive season, of course, the land must offer sincere feelings and make every effort to the landlord to set up a special banquet and warm hospitality.

The host and guest respect each other and accompany each other, you pour me a drink, and between pushing the cup and changing the cup, you are already drunk. I only heard the city god murmur, "Shame, shame!" and the land hurriedly asked the city god why he was suddenly in a bad mood? The city god pondered for a while, then slowly opened his drunken eyes and said that his sacrifice was not as good as the land, and sighed from the heart.

The land hurriedly persuaded: "The city god knows that the rise and fall of temple incense is all due to the time, place and people. The place where the little fairy lives is a witness, not the ability of the little fairy. In the area where it is located in the water and land transportation hub, there are many temples densely scattered in the Five Mile Temple and Ten Mile Temple, such as Yuqing Palace, White Dragon Holy Temple, Niangniang Temple, Yang Si Temple, etc., which are adjacent to the little fairy, as well as the Yangjiagoukou Taishan Temple on the official road to Luoyang, the Laojun Temple on the top of the Laozhanggou Mountain, the Qingqu Laojun Temple, the sharp and pimple Dao Temple, etc., are all built in a magnificent way, all of which are human works that show the feng shui treasure of the region and the harmony between heaven and earth. Please don't be torn in your heart for this flashy."

After listening to the explanation of the land, he knew that he had lost his words after drinking, so he asked along the meaning of the land: "There are inexhaustible treasures on Hanjiazhou on the other side of the Jiuwen River, and there is an endless stream of treasure seekers. How can it last for a long time?"

The land replied: "Han Jiazhou was originally the incarnation of the catfish spirit lying on the Dragon Palace, the land where the mountains and rivers interacted with the dragon in the Yin-Yang House, and the north bank of the Han River, where the yin and yang intersected with the dragon and yang. Since ancient times, it has been the royal forbidden land and the families of dignitaries competing to spy on the burial place, and the burial goods are rich. In addition, it is rumored that in the dead of night, there are often sounds of blowing and singing musical instruments in the continent, so it has lured many tomb robbers and treasure hunters. However, what the treasure robbers stole was only the burial goods from outside the continent, and it is more difficult to obtain the treasures in the continent than to go to the sky and the earth."

The City God asked, "How do you say that?"

The land replied, "Did the city god forget that the key to the treasure house of the Dragon Palace in that continent was lost when the Dragon King used his magic power to subdue the catfish essence. Without the key, how can I enter the treasure house to retrieve treasures?"

The City God said, "You know best where the key is lost. I'm in the same immortal class as you, so you don't have to worry about hiding. Can you tell me?"

The land is loyal and honest by nature, and I am afraid that the love of the city god will be weakened, and the wine will be defeated, so I have to take the key of the Dragon Palace, how to fall into the bank of the shop from the sky, turn it into a five-mile reef embankment, go through the waves of the river, collect the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, absorb the essence of the sun and the moon, and nurture it into a spirit; how can every time the Jiawu year, the afternoon and the moon are on the sixth day, the primordial spirit comes out of the body and becomes a five-foot double-headed purple bamboo, which gathers the solids of the true energy of the sun and the sun in the willow bank bamboo forest; if people capture it at this time, go to the right side of the continent, and so on..., the palace gate opens itself, and the treasures can be seen, etc., all told to the city god, even the Jade Emperor ordered him and the empress to guard the river bay here, protect the treasures on the other side Say it exactly.

The words of the land and the city god after drinking just made Hui Yun, an eminent monk from Xi'an Reclining Buddha Temple, who was sleeping at night, hear it clearly. After listening to the words of the land, Master Hui Yun returned to the house, lying on the bed, tossing and turning all night, unable to sleep. At the Dragon Boat Festival, I also didn't want to pay attention to the sea of people, watching the scenery of the dragon boat race, and wandering by the river. It turned out that it was not the treasure of the Dragon Palace that disturbed Huiyun's square inch, but the mysterious secret of unexpected harvest. The opportunity of 60 years, as well as the landscape of the Dragon Palace treasure house and the thought of returning the treasure to the temple to repay the kindness, made Hui Yun finally make the decision to sacrifice himself to search for the treasure.

So Huiyun lurked in the bamboo forest late at night, waiting for an opportunity to capture the "purple bamboo", flew to the top of the continent, facing the rock gully, rotated the "purple bamboo" three on the right and five on the left, found a cave, and went straight down the road. Seeing a row of houses glowing out, walking towards the bright light, it looked like a mill. A donkey was pulling the mill, grinding the surface in circles around the mill. The golden beans in the upper grinding fan and the ground gold particles on the grinding disc shone brightly. Seeing this, Huiyun instinctively leaned against the door of the mill with the "purple bamboo" in his hand, walked lightly into the room, followed behind the donkey, lifted his shirt with his left hand, raised his right hand, and tiptoed to avoid force. He grabbed a handful of golden beans in the basket cover and put them in his arms.

When the donkey heard the noise, it smelled the breath of a stranger, so it kicked and screamed again. With the sound of the donkey, a woman flashed out of the inner room, shouting "catch the thief" while raising the brush in her hand and calling to Huiyun. Huiyun couldn't dodge, and got a pimple on her back. She hurriedly grasped the mouth of the bag with both hands and rushed out of the door. Hearing the sound of gongs outside the mill, there was the sound of catching thieves. Huiyun quickly ran out of the cave and came to the riverside. She suddenly realized that the "purple bamboo" had been forgotten in the cave. When she was at a loss, she only heard a loud "boom." When she looked back, she could not see the entrance to the cave, but she saw rocks rolling across the continent and mountains sliding. Immediately, there was a call for thieves from the Earth Temple and the Empress Temple on the other side of the river. Huiyun didn't care to think too much, he hurriedly used the driving technique, jumped on the rising smoke of the river, and fled westward along the river. The golden beans and gold powder in the bag were scattered into the river with the lame feet, and the airflow blew, solidifying into different forms of sand gold.

When Huiyun rushed into the Money River, the sky was already bright, the smoke on the river had dissipated, and she was exhausted. When she looked back, the land and the empress were getting closer and closer, and she had to give up the treasures in her arms, use her spare energy to escape into Shangjin City on the shore, and hide in Yuan Zhenguan.

Following Huiyun, the land and the empress, who were in hot pursuit, rushed to the Money River, and watched Huiyun land on the river bank with her bare hands and got lost in Shangjin City, so she had to return in vain.

The key to unlock the treasure of the Dragon Palace was thrown away by Huiyun in the treasure house. The reef protection lost its spirituality and collapsed. The raging and roaring flood swept away a large area of land by the river, washed away the Earth Temple and the Niangniang Temple…

The Jade Emperor has to report: blame the land for leaking secrets and dereliction of duty, reduce the land to the lowest godhead, take "Lei" (two stones as the wall and one as the top) as the temple, and be sacrificed under the tree or by the roadside; after drinking, the city god of the state is eventful, when there is a disaster of the country's broken temple; praise Huiyun's long-standing wish, because of it, great compassion, smooth the wish of floating life, and give the Han River gold as a seed, rich in sand gold, and benefit the people on both sides of the strait from generation to generation.

From then on, the Han River has inexhaustible resources of alluvial gold.
