Xi Shi, Wang Zhaojun, Diao Chan, and Yang Yuhuan are also known as the four beautiful women in ancient China, of which Xi Shi is the first, which is the embodiment and synonym of beauty. The reason why King Yue Goujian was able to restore the country successfully, in addition to his tenacity and perseverance of "hard work and courage", there is also a very important reason, that is, he is good at using Xi Shi to confuse Wu Wang Fu Cha. Xi Shi, who is good at color and art, played an important role as an army in the process of Goujian's destruction of Wu. But strangely, when Wu Wang Fucha was killed and Goujian returned to power, Xi Shi mysteriously disappeared. Where did Xi Shi? This question has become a question for thousands of years.

There is a folk saying that when the city of Gusu was destroyed and the state of Wu fell, Xi Shi's lover, Fan Li, hurried to the depths of the Wu Palace, rescued Xi Shi, and entered the misty Taihu Lake from the waterway. After getting away from the whirlpool of political struggle, Fan Li aliased himself as Tao Zhu Gong, and with his great talent, he became rich in business.

Ming Dynasty opera writer Liang Chenyu's "Huan Sha Ji" also describes this history in detail. Fan Li toured his hometown on a bright spring day, at Ruoye River under Zhuji Ramie Mountain, and happened to meet Xi Shi, who was in Huansha, and was overwhelmed by the beauty of his country. So, the two made a white-headed contract with the yarn of the stream. Soon, King Wu led the army into Yue Kingdom. The Yue army was defeated, King Yue Goujian was taken prisoner, and Fan Li also went to Wu Kingdom to be a slave. Three years later, Goujian and his wife returned to Yue Kingdom. Goujian tried to avenge his humiliation, so he adopted the beauty plan offered by Fan Li. When the husband saw Xi Shi, he was overjoyed and doted on him incomparably. He thought he had defeated Yue Kingdom, and the world had no reason, but in the end he was destroyed by Yue Kingdom. Gou Jian was about to reward his merits, but Fan Li was unwilling to become an official, so he took Xi Shi and went boating on the lake incognito.

Unfortunately, this is probably just a good wish.

How is Xi Shi seductive? There is a story in "Zhuangzi Tianyuan" that "Dong Shi imitates the frown", saying that Xi Shi is "sick heart and frowns in it." Frowning is "frowning," which is to seduce people with melancholy.

Before the Tang Dynasty, there was an article in Volume 3 of Wang Jia, a former Qin man from the Sixteen Kingdoms, saying that Xi Shi and Zheng Dan were sent to Wu, "Wu was in the room of pepper flowers, and the beads were curtains, facing down to cover the scenery, and the evening was rolled for the moon." "Pepper" is pepper, and it became a proxy for the residence of the concubine after "pepper flowers fall red." This article in the "Receiving Remains" says that the two sat in the house, and the mirror was made up in the beads. Peeping people were "thrilled and thrilled." Because of this, King Wu was bewitched and forgot about politics, and waited for the Vietnamese army to enter the country before fleeing into the back garden with the two daughters. "The Vietnamese army entered in disorder, and when they saw the two daughters under the tree, they all said Goddess, but they did not dare to invade."

According to Wu Yue Chunqiu, Xi Shi and Zheng Dan were indeed sent to Wu State by Fan Li. So did he find it? The "Wu Yue Chunqiu" says, "Yue Wang is the daughter of the envoy in the country, and the salary of Luoshan". This "prime minister" definitely does not refer to Fan Li. Fan Li sent Xi Shi. In the "Records of Wu Di" written by Lu Guangwei in the Tang Dynasty, there is an interesting record that there is a "Yuerting" 100 miles south of Jiaxing County. At that time, the Goujian order Fan Li offered Xi Shi. The two "dived for three years" on the road and had a son. The pavilion was already one year old. Later generations refuted this absurd statement, saying that in "Wu Yue Chunqiu", it took three years to teach Xi Shi and Zheng Dan, and if you walk on the road for another three years, wouldn't it be six years? " In Yue Jue Shu, it is said that when Madam Yue entered Wu with Goujian, she gave birth to a daughter in the "Nvyang Pavilion". After Goujian destroyed Wu, the place was changed to "Yuerxiang". There seems to be some connection between the two.

The most complete story of Fan Li's Xishi that has been passed down now is about the play "Huan Sha Ji" written by Liang Chenyu in the Ming Dynasty. Liang Chenyu was from Kunshan, and "Huan Sha Ji" was one of the early foundation works of Kunchong. In "Huan Sha Ji", the beginning becomes Fan Li traveled to Luoshan in spring, met Xishi, a raccoon yarn girl, by the stream, and fell in love at first sight.

According to the book "The Book of Huan Sha", Gou Jian's minister Wu, and the literary style was determined to be a beautiful woman. Because he couldn't find it all over the country, Fan Li went to Luo to persuade Xi Shi himself, "The country is too heavy, so it is not appropriate to be stingy with a woman." He said to Xi Shi: "The prosperity of the country is all due to this move. If you can float away, then the country can exist, and I can also be protected. There will be a period in the future that is unknown. If you insist on it and don't do it, the country will be destroyed, and my body will also perish. Although you are married in that season, you and I will be ghosts in the ditch together. How can you ask for a hundred years of happiness?"

The role of Xi Shi in this way is undoubtedly a meat bomb, and the task is to consume the physical strength and energy of the husband to the maximum extent. The scene of Fu Cha and Xi Shi in Liang Ren's "Book of Differences" in the Southern Dynasty was: King Wu built the Gusutai in three years, the wall stretched for five miles, and there were thousands of prostitutes in the palace. And don't set up the Spring Night Palace, for the long night to drink, to make a thousand-stone wine tank. Also made a big pool, in which green dragon boats are made, and the day and Xi Shi are water plays.

At the end of "The Book of Huan Sha", it combines the escape from disaster, the fear of leaving the lost king of the country, and the escape from the dust. The marriage between Fan Li and Xishi finally said through Fan Li's mouth: "I am the golden boy of the Shixiao Palace, and the Qing is the jade girl of the palace of heaven. Both were condemned, and both were relegated to the world. Therefore, I am a slave in the stone room, and it was originally an old relationship: Fang Qing was a concubine of the Wu Palace, and it was really a disaster. Today, I will continue the contract that has been broken for a hundred generations. I want to form a marriage that has not been completed in three lifetimes, and I will start to get lost and return to the right path."

In fact, Mozi's account of Xi Shi is probably the most accurate. Generally speaking, Mozi was born around 468 BC and died in 376 BC, which should be the earliest record of Xi Shi.

The chapter "Mozi Jinshi" records "the Shen of Xishi, its beauty." ("Shen", the ancient work "Shen"), the word "Shen" here tells the cause of Xishi's death. Later generations quoted the corresponding text of Zhao Ye's "Wu Yue Chunqiu" in the later Han Dynasty, saying "After Wu died, the more he was applied to the river, the more he was applied to the west, and the more he was made to follow the Yi Yi to the end." The Yi Yi is the kind of skin that holds the body of Wu Zixu. In "The Chronicles of the Nations of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty", Shen Xishi was done by Mrs. Yue, who said that he was a traitor to the class teacher and brought back Xishi. Mrs. Yue asked her subordinates to secretly lead him out, tied the big stone and said in Chenjiang: "What is the purpose of keeping this thing that has been subjugated?"
