People named it Weishan because of the tomb of Weizi on the mountain. There lived a family on the hillside of Weishan, only two grandparents. The two men reclaimed a few acres of hillside land and planted crops to support themselves. Although they lived a poor life, they were comfortable and stable.

One autumn, the beans were almost ripe, and the grains were fat and big. The two of them were very happy that this year was a good harvest, so they didn't have to worry about running out of food to eat. One evening, the grandson went to the bean field to look at the beans, and he was worried that an old man with a white beard was driving a flock of sheep in the bean field. The little grandson ran over and asked, "Grandpa, why did you put the sheep in my bean field?" The old man said, "You can't harvest the beans. In ten days, this mountain will collapse, and this place will become a big lake. Can you still harvest the beans?! Why don't you feed my sheep." After stopping, he said, "You two are good people, hurry up and escape in the direction of the sky, but you can't stay here for a long time." After saying that, it turned into a breeze and disappeared, and the flock disappeared without a trace.

The little grandson ran home quickly and told his grandfather what had happened just now. When his grandfather heard it, he said that it was an immortal enchantment, so he packed his luggage and clothes overnight. While preparing to lead his little grandson to flee to the east, he told the villagers to flee with them. In this way ten or ten people passed away, and in a few days all the people on the mountain and under the mountain fled.

In the middle of the night on the ninth day, only the sound of a landslide was heard, and then the micro-mountain sank.

The collapse of Weishan turned into Wang Yang, and the highest peak of Weishan turned into an island. Since then, people have called this piece of Wang Yang Weishan Lake and the small island in Wang Yang Weishan Lake Island.
